On Wednesday, Dec. 29, beginning at 10 a.m., Withlacoochee Electric will begin intermittently stopping traffic on County Road 491 just north of Horace Allen Road to install utility lines.

The electric company has hired sheriff’s deputies to control traffic. The company will try to minimize the work time and the impact on traffic but will be stopping the flow of vehicles on C.R. 491 off and on for an hour to two hours.

Traffic will be required to wait for as much as five to 10 minutes during those stops. Motorists should use caution and expect delays during those times.
